Podcasting Made Easy!
Thinking about starting a podcast? It's actually real easy and free to do it, simple recording software, computer and microphone, publishing software, create an RSS feed, even submit your podcast to Apple store, and away you go. Now finding something to talk about is up to you, you need to share something you know in and out that no one else does.

For a computer it doesn't require that much power to run the software required and a microphone to start off a simple $15 mic will do, I suggest Plantronics Audio 90 which will do the job until you get into the swing of things. When you get real into it and you want to start doing this and sounding great you should spend a little more investment on a microphone and get a Pop Filter, this prevents that strong air sound that comes from saying certain words with a "P" in it. You breating into the mic causes this loud pop sound, these screen meshes filter that out.

This most used software for creating podcasts is Audacity, it is free open source software that is for recording and editing sound. Now if you are going for a video podcast you are looking into getting more stuff, like a good quality camcorde that you can import your videos. Now for video editing you can use the free Microsoft Live Movie Maker but if you are serious into it you would go with Avid Studio for Windows or the famous Apple Final Cut Pro if you are a Mac person.
